Bargarh: A middle-aged man died due to sunstroke in Sirkida village under Sohela Police Station area in the district last night.
The deceased has been identified as Manohar Nayak of the same village.
Manohar, who visited several people’s home along with a friend to distribute the marriage invitation cards of the latter, returned home late in the afternoon. However, he developed sickness caused by scorching heatwave till the evening and turned critical.
While family members rushed Manohar to Sohela CHC from where they shifted him to Bargarh DHH, the doctors declared him dead due to heatstroke late in the night.
Sohela Police has registered a case of unnatural death in the incident.
