Balangir: A man was electrocuted to death after coming in contact with a high voltage power transmission line in Kusakala village under Titlagarh police limits in Balangir district this morning.
The deceased has been identified as Chiranjib Suna (52) of the same village.
As per the report, Suna had climbed atop a tree to collect twig this morning while unknowingly touched a live wire passing nearby. He was electrocuted and died on the spot.
After getting information, local police rushed to the spot and sent the body for autopsy.
