Cuttack: A man allegedly committed suicide on the rail line at Kapilash Road Railway Station under Tangi block in the district on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as Butia Mallick of Badaharijan Sahi. He worked as a taxi driver in the area.
While the exact reason behind the suicide is yet to be known, it is suspected that he might have taken the extreme step over family feud.
GRP have reached the spot and started an investigation into the incident after seizing the dead body.
