Man Arrested In Bhadrak For Duping Job Aspirants

Bhadrak: Police today arrested a man for allegedly duping job aspirants in the district. The deceased has been identified as Mohammad Aslam, a native of Uttar Pradesh.

Police said that the accused who impersonated himself as Rohit has set up an office in Charampa area for past 15 days. “He has lured several youths on the pretext of providing various jobs in an automobile company and collected Rs 2500 from each aspirant,” said a police officer.

Few job seekers who were cheated by the accused later lodged a police complaint and subsequently Aslam was nabbed. “We apprehend the accused of cheating several others in similar fashion. We urge the duped people to seek police help,” added the police official.
