Jajpur: Police today arrested a man for allegedly raping his minor daughter under Sukinda police limits.
As per reports, the accused father raped his daughter few days ago in an inebriated condition. But the family members did not lodge a police complaint.
The accused father, however, gain tried to harass the girl sexually on Wednesday following which the girl escaped from her house.
She later narrated her ordeal before a local who informed the matter to the Child Development Project Officer (CDPO). The CDPO on Thursday lodged a formal complaint with the Sukinda police station and subsequently the accused father was arrested.
