Malkangiri: Odisha Vigilance conducted a raid on properties associated with the Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Police, in Malkangiri on Thursday morning on the allegation of accumulation of disproportionate assets.
The ASI in the vigilance net has been identified as Jayadas Khora.
Earlier, Khora was arrested and forwarded to jail custody in a Ganja case under Malkangiri police limits.
Simultaneous searches are being conducted by the Odisha Vigilance team led by 3 DSPs, 5 Inspectors, and other staff.
Based on a piece reliable information, the vigilance sleuths have conducted raids at five places in Malkangiri and Koraput districts on the strength of search warrants issued by the Hon’ble Court of Spl. Judge Vigilance, Jeypore, Koraput.
1. Rented house of Sri Khora at Malkangiri.
2. House of his relative at LIC colony , Koraput.
3.Three storyed building adjacent to his relative’s house at LIC colony,koraput.
4. Residential quarter at Sunabeda AF colony, Dist- Koraput.
5. Duplex at Megharaj Constructions Site, Koraput.
