Make In Odisha: CM Naveen Patnaik attends Chennai Road Show, invites investors

Chennai: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik invited the prospective entrepreneurs and investors to start their enterprise in Odisha, while attending the third investment roadshow for upcoming edition of the Make in Odisha Conclave, which started in the capital city of Tamil Nadu here today.

The roadshow held to garner investment for Odisha in the sectors like food processing, apparel, pharmaceuticals and manufacturing is aimed at attracting investors to the Second Make In Odisha conclave schedule to be held from November 11 to 15.

While addressing show Naveen cited the examples of Paradip and Dhamra Port claiming that these two ports are adding strength to the port-led manufacturing base in the state. Similarly, first riverine port project of Odisha planned on Mahanadi River in Kendrapara district equipped with a cargo handling capacity of over 45 million tonnes per annum will be extremely beneficial in the coming times, he added.

The road show which followed similar events earlier at Mumbai and New Delhi and showcased Odisha’s investment potential witnessed the presence of Odisha Health, Law and I&PR Minister Pratap Jena, Chief Secretary Aditya Prasad Padhi and Development Commissioner R. Balakrishnan.
