Bhubaneswar: In a boost to Odisha BJP’s star power, veteran Odia actress Mahashweta Ray would join its fold tomorrow, informed party spokesperson Pitambar Acharya here today.
As per Acharya, the actress who had won a lot of accolades for her immortal works on celluloid would join the saffron party at its office in the city in the presence of Union Petroleum Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
Earlier, Odia film stars like Ajit Das, Sritam Das, Pintu Nanda, Harihara Nayak, Pinky Pradhan, Mihir Das and Anu Choudhury had joined BJP.
