Jajpur: A LPG tanker truck overturned on NH 53 near Karei Chhak under Badachana police limits in Odisha’s Jajpur district on the wee hours of Saturday.
The vehicular movement on the Cuttack- Chandikhol route was affected after a gas leaked from the vehicle.
According to reports, the incident occurred at around 4.30 AM when the tanker was plying towards Chandikhol from Cuttack side.
So far, no casualties or injuries have been reported in the incident.
On being informed, fire tenders from Chandikhol immediately reached the spot and sprayed water on the vehicle as to avoid any untoward incident.
Meanwhile, locals were asked not to come near the vehicle . On the other hand, Badachana police began a probe into the matter.
