Lower Courts In Odisha To Have Morning Session From April 8

Bhubaneswar: In view of the alarming increase in day temperature across the state, the Orissa High Court has directed the district and session judges to commence morning session for all lower courts in Odisha from April 8.

As per the directive, the court sessions will commence from 7 am and continue till 1 pm, with a half-an-hour break from 10 am to 10.30am.

All the lower courts and concerned Bar Associations have been informed about the new schedule via an official notification, issued by the Orissa High Court Registry on Friday.

However, work in all the lower courts in Berhampur, Bhubaneswar, Chhatrapur, Puri Sadar and Koraput Sadar will commence at the usual time i.e 10 am, informed the notification.
