Low Pressure Likely Over Bay Of Bengal By May 19, Possible Rain In Odisha

Bhubaneswar: After cyclone Asani yet another low-pressure area is likely to form over the East-Central Bay of Bengal in the next week.

The latest bulletin of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) gave this information.

It is noteworthy that, the new low-pressure area is likely to form over East-Central Bay of Bengal by May 19.

The Southwest monsoon, which is likely to advance into the South Andaman Sea and adjoining Southeast Bay of Bengal around May 15 will be more active.

The IMD predicted that under the influence of the possible low pressure the monsoon will become more active.
