Nabarangpur: In yet another case of failed love in the district a young couple committed suicide by hanging themselves to death in Pandikote village under Papadahandi block in the district this last night.
The deceased have been identified as Banabasi Dandasena (20) and Swati Paika (19).
As per the locals, the deceased duo was in love since past few months which was being objected by their families. Under immense mental stress the love birds chose to take the extreme step last night and died by hanging themselves to a tree in a cashewnut garden in the village.
While some locals called up police after spotting the bodies this morning, cops are yet to reach the village.
