Balasore: A youth has absconded after impregnating wife in Balasore district of Odisha. The accused has been identified as Narendra Bidanta of Natapada village.
Reportedly, Narendra was working for a private company in Mumbai where he met his wife Rasmita, resident of Rayagada district.
Thereafter, the duo fell in love and got involved in a physically intimate relationship. They tied a knot in a Shiva temple in Rayagada in the presence of the girl’s family.
Later, Narendra fled from the house during the time when Rasmita was three-months pregnant.
Adding to it, Rasmita learned shocking facts about Narendra that he had already been married and also has a six-year-old son.
Rasmita lodged a complaint with the Khaira police station with the help of some local social workers and women organizations.
Based on the complaint, Khaira police has detained Narendra at the police station and initiated an investigating.
