Love Birds Allegedly Commit Suicide In Nabarangpur District Of Odisha

Nabarangpur: In an unfortunate incident, a girl and her lover have allegedly committed suicide in Murtuma village under Umerkote block in Nabarangpur district of Odisha.

The girl, identified as Sasmita Majhi, was supposed to tie the knot after 10 days with a youth whom her family had chosen. However, she was in love with another person.

According to reports, the locals spotted her hanging along with her lover from a tree and subsequently it has alleged that they have committed suicide over failed love affair.

On getting the information the cops have arrive at the spot. Three insecticide bottles, pieces of cake and a cycle have been seized from the spot.

A case of unnatural death has been filed after the police investigation. Further probe is underway.
