Looters Active During Shutdown In Capital City Of Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The recent Covid shutdown has seen a remarkable rise in the number of loots and crimes in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Odisha.

According to reports, looters have broken the lock of a grocery shop in front of BMC Mall in Sahid Nagar and stolen away all the goods.

The loot has taken place in the wee hours of Sunday.

According to the shop owner, Jitendra Rout items worth almost three lakh has been looted from the shop.

The police has reached the spot and is carrying out further investigation in the matter. A man has been arrested for allegedly carrying away items in an auto.
