Loot Bid Foiled In Balasore District Of Odisha, 2 Arrested

Balasore: Two unidentified miscreants have been thrashed by the villagers while trying to loot from a bike carrier today in Simulia market under Baliapal police limits in Balasore district of Odisha.

According to reports, while the owner of the shop, ‘Jagannath Jewellery Shop’ was opening the shutter when the two miscreants came on an Apache bike without any registration number.

Thereafter they broke the bike carrier and stole the bag of jewellery. However, the owner caught hold of them and shouted for help. The locals tied them to an electric pole and thrashed them.

Meanwhile, the Baliapala police arrived at the spot and the miscreants were handed over to the cops.
