Baliguda: The newly elected Lok Sabha MP of Kandhamal Dr. Achyuta Samant visited K. Nuagaon of Baliguda in the constituency to take stock of the developmental works.
Dr. Samant received a grand welcome from BJD party workers after arriving at the constituency. Baliguda MLA Chakramani Kanhar and many BJD cadres and workers were present in this congregation.
Addressing the gathering Dr. Samant urged the party workers to extend their support and cooperation during his term for the development of the constituency. Later he visited the Hanuman temple and offered prayer.
Dr. Samant also visited the Jagannath temple in Kantaguda and inaugurated a cricket tournament. After meeting with party workers at Tumudibandh, he discussed upcoming developmental programmes. Later, he planted saplings in a circuit house on the occasion of World Environment Day.
