Loisinga MLA’s vehicle attacked in Odisha’s Balangir district, PSO & driver injured

Balangir: Miscreants on Tuesday attacked the vehicle of Loisingha MLA Mukesh Mahaling in Balangir district of Odisha. His PSO and driver sustained injury due to the attack. The culprits are yet to be nabbed.

The injured persons have been identified as Devraj Naga, driver of the MLA’s vehicle and Shankar Bariha, his Personal Security Officer.

As per reports, today when Loisingha MLA Mukesh Mahaling was returning from Badi Bahal village under his constituency in his vehicle accompanied by the driver and PSO, the vehicle met an accident with a bike at Burda chhak following which the two persons on the bike attacked on the MLA’s vehicle.

The two miscreants attacked the PSO and driver for which they sustained injury. They have been admitted to Loisingha hospital.

After getting information Loisingha Police rushed to the spot and enquired the matter. While further investigation of the case is underway, the culprits are yet to be nabbed.

Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan has demanded action against the culprit. In a tweet Pradhan said that if public representatives are not safe what is about security of common people.
