Balasore: A group of locals in Odisha’s Balasore district caught hold of two robbers on Thursday and tonsured their heads after thrashing them black and blue on charges of threatening and looting the commuters.
Two persons, who have been identified as Rakesh Dash and Chiku Mahalick, were reportedly threatening everyone who was going on the road in the Srijung area of the district. The duo also blocked different vehicles and attempted to loot the occupants by threatening them.
However, some locals managed to catch hold of the duo cleverly and thrashed them severely. This apart, the irate people tonsured their heads.
Cops from the local police station rushed to the spot and started an investigation into the matter after detaining Rakesh and Chiku for interrogation.
