Ganjam: A live pangolin was rescued from a village in Odisha’s Ganjam by the Jagannathprasad forest officials last evening.
The live pangolin was rescued from Nuasahi area of Banta village under Jagannathprasad forest range.
Sources say, some villagers spotted the pangolin heading towards the village and informed the forest officials.
On being informed, the forest officials reached the spot and rescued the live pangolin. Later, they took the pangolin for treatment.
After the treatment, it was left into the wild.
