Bhubaneswar: In view of the 73rd Independence Day celebrations, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik on Friday assigned his Council of Ministers and other officials to unfurl the National Flag at the district headquarters in the state.
The Chief Minister will hoist the tri-colour at the state level function, scheduled to be held at the IDCO Exhibition Ground here on August 15.
This year, the Naveen Patnaik government has decided to celebrate the state-level Independence Day function at the Exhibition Ground instead of the Mahatma Gandhi Marg in the state capital.
Here is the list of Ministers assigned to hoist the National Flag in the districts named against them:

Member, Board of Revenue has been assigned to unfurl the National Flag at the district level function at Bhadrak, while Revenue Divisional Commissioner (RDC), Central Division will hoist the tri-colour at Khordha, RDC (Southern Division) at Berhampur, RDC (Northern Division) at Rourkela.
District Collectors of Baragarh, Boudh, Deogarh, Ganjam, Jagatsinghpur, Jharsuguda, Nuapada and Subarnapur have been allotted to hoist the National Flag at their respective district level function on the Independence Day.
