Liquor shop staff injured in firing in Khordha

Khordha: The manager of a foreign liquor (FL) shop was injured in a firing incident at Samantrapur area here last night.

The injured manager has been identified as Amulya Kabati.

According to reports, Kabati was attacked by some miscreants, while he was returning home after closing the FL Shop. The miscreants also took away the vehicle of Kabati and fled from the spot.

Kabati has sustained bullet injuries in his leg. He was rushed to District Headquarters Hospital (DHH), Khordha to get treatment.

While the reason behind the attack is yet to be ascertained, a case has been registered in this connection.
