Lingipur ATM loot case: Commissionerate Police takes arrested accused for crime scene recreation

Bhubaneswar: The Commissionerate Police on Sunday took the two arrested accused for crime scene recreation in connection with ATM loot case in Indira Housing Colony at Lingipur on the outskirts of Bhubaneswar.

Both the accused persons showed a demo on how they looted the SBI ATM at Lingipur area and then threw it in Daya river bank.

Yesterday, two persons including a Bangladeshi national was arrested by the Commisionerate police.. Tomorrow the police will apply in the court to take both into remand.

Based of CCTV footages and SARAI App, the police confirmed that there were five Bangladesh nationals involved in the Lingipur ATM loot case and all the accused persons were absconding. During the investigation, the police traced that they had visited Andhra Pradesh and later moved to Bengaluru.

Over 30 hotels came under scanner in Bengaluru and with help of the city police, they managed to nab two key accused. The operation is underway to nab other four Bangladesh nationals.
