Bhubaneswar: The city-based Regional Meteorological Centre today issued moderate thunderstorm and lightning alerts for as many as nine districts of Odisha today.
According to the latest bulletin of the weatherman, one or two places of nine districts of the state namely Kalahandi, Koraput, Kandhamal, Rayagada, Gajapati, Ganjam, Sundergarh, Jharsuguda and Keonjhar are likely to witness moderate thunderstorm and lightning til 8.45 pm today.
The people of the said districts have been cautioned against going out and advised to stay in safe places to avoid any kind of eventuality.
