Bhubaneswar: The Duty Officer of the Meteorological Centre in Bhubaneswar today informed that light to moderate rain/thunderstorms with lightning likely to affect as many as nine districts of Odisha.
According to the latest bulletin of the weatherman, light to moderate rain/thunderstorms with lightning are likely to affect some parts of the districts of Malkangiri, Koraput, Rayagada, Kalahandi, Gajapati, Nayagarh, Kandhamal, Nuapada and Balangir during next three hours.
People of the above-mentioned districts have been advised to keep a watch on the weather and accordingly move to safer places to protect from lightning strikes.
