Light & Sound Show At Konark Sun Temple To Resume From May 22

Bhubaneswar: The light and sound show at the world-famous Sun Temple in Konark will resume from May 22, officials informed. The show had been stopped from May 2, due to the extremely severe cyclonic storm Fani which ravaged coastal Odisha on May 3.

Earlier, Culture and Tourism Minister Ashok Chandra Panda had visited the Konark Sun Temple on May 14 and announced that the show will be started after the completion of the repair work. “

A source further informed that none of the gadgets have sustained any damage in the cyclone and the show can start once everything is verified.

According to reports, there will be two shows- one from 7.30 pm to 8.10 pm and another from 8.30 pm to 9.10 pm. The tickets have been priced at Rs 50 per head for the 40-minute show which will be presented in Hindi, English and Odia.
