Leopard skin smuggling: 3 more accused arrested in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: The Special Task Force (STF) of Odisha Crime Branch arrested three more accused persons for their links with the leopard skin smuggling case on Sunday.

While probing the case (no. 03/2019) which was filed under Section 379, 411 and 120 (B) of the IPC and Section 51 of the Wild Life (Protection) Act,1972, the STF arrested three accused person whom it identified as Narendra Ping of Laikera village in Jharsuguda district, Manful Pradhan of Riamal village in Deogarh district and Akhaya Bhoi of Jamankira village in Sambalpur district.

Earlier, the STF had also arrested 7 accused persons in the instant case from Kuchinda in Sambalpur and forwarded them to the court, said sources.
