Paradip: Panic grips the town after some workers and security guards performing duty at LPG terminal claimed of sighting a leopard like animal last night.
The matter was immediately shared with the local police and forest officials who have started an operation to trace the animal.
The security guards claimed that the animal was spotted approaching towards the BPCL terminal.
“Pugmarks were found on the premises of the terminal. However, it is yet to be ascertained whether those pugmarks were of a leopard or any other animal. We have also advised locals not to panic,” said a forest official.
