Lecturer Arrested In Odisha For Molesting Girl Student

Baripada: Police today arrested a lecturer of Rairangpur Women’s College in Mayurbhanj district for allegedly molesting a girl student in tuition class on Tuesday.

The accused has been identified as Niroj Kumar Behera. The victim alleged that Behera molested her after her tuition classes got over.

“He sent all the students home after tuition classes got over and asked me to stay. He later molested me and threatened me of dire consequences if I told anyone about the matter,” alleged the victim.

The girl however narrated the entire incident before his parents. The father of the victim later lodged a formal complaint with the Rairangpur Town police station.
