Khordha: Exhibiting their love for animals a few youths from Begunia area in Khordha district of Odisha on Friday performed the funeral rites of a monkey that had been killed after coming in contact with live wire
As per reports, a monkey was killed on Thursday after somehow it came in contact with a live wire in the Nuasahi of Begunia. Today, a few youths of the village performed the last rites of the monkey like that of a human. They chanted ‘Ram Naam Satya Hai’, ‘Krushna Naam Satya Hai and buried the dead monkey
The locals have praised the humanitarian approache of the youth.
