Koraput: Train services were disrupted between Koraput and Rayagada stations in Odisha following a landslide on railway track near Laxmipur station on Wednesday morning.
The landslide occurred due to incessant rain since last two days.
Passengers were stranded at different railway stations as several trains were halted following the landslide.
The Bhubaneswar-Jagdalpur Hirakhand Express and Rourkela Inter-city Express were halted at the Laxmipur railway station.
The Samaleswari Express was stopped at the Kakiriguma station.
Meanwhile, Railway officials began operation to clear the affected tracks and restore the rail traffic.
