Puri: The CBI has raided at least 12 places across the country, including Puri, Ranchi, Patna, Delhi and Gurugram. The raids are being conducted in connection with alleged irregularities in leasing of hotels by IRCTC in 2006 when Lalu Prasad Yadav was the Union Railway Minister.
A team of CBI officials are conducting raids at The Chanakya BNR Hotel in Puri. Lara Projects Pvt. Ltd owned by Lalu’s wife Rabri Devi, son Tejajshwi Yadav and daughter Ragini Yadav has major stakes in the hotel.
CBI has registered cases against Lalu Yadav, his wife Rabri Devi, son Tejaswi Yadav (Dy CM of Bihar) and a former MD of IRCTC.
