Koraput school gang rape: Another PIL filed in Orissa HC demanding CBI probe Cuttack: Yet another Public Interest Litigation (PIL) , seeking CBI probe into the Kunduli minor girl gang rape case in  Koraput district, was filed in Orissa High Court on Tuesday.

Bharatiya Vikas Parishad, a non-profit organization, filled the PIL in which it made the BSF DIG party in the case.

It also demanded to bring the working BSF jawans under the purview of investigation.

On Monday, a PIL was filed in the High Court seeking a CBI or NIA probe into the gang rape case. Odisha Home Secretary, DGP, Koraput SP, NIA DG and CBI SP were made parties in the case.

Meanwhile, the Odisha Human Rights Commission (OHRC) today sought report from South-Western Range DIG on detention of four suspects by October 20.

On the other hand, opposition Congress began its two-day long protest march from the Musaguda village under Kunduli police station, the native village of gang rape survivor, in Koraput district in a bid to pressure the state government to arrest all the accused involved in the gang rape case.

The party had also observed a seven-hour bandh in the undivided district of Koraput on Monday.

The gang rape of a Class IX student had triggered tension in the district after the victim alleged that four persons in the uniform of security personnel forcibly sexually assulted her on October 10.
