Koraput: Youth’s body found under bridge, murder suspected

Koraput: The bloodied body of an unidentified youth was found under a bridge in Odisha’s Koraput district on Sunday.

Some commuters reportedly spotted the body of the youth under the bridge in Deogathi panchayat under Sadar police limits of the district and informed the cops about it.

While the exact reason behind the youth’s death is yet to be ascertained, the prima facie investigation of the police revealed that he has been beaten to death elsewhere and his body was disposed under the bridge.

Meanwhile, Koraput Sadar police have registered a case and started an investigation into the matter with the help of a forensic team.

Efforts are on to establish the identity of the youth, said sources.
