Puri: The mesmerizing light and sound show at the world-famous Konark Sun Temple is set to resume from Friday onwards. The show was stopped due to severe cyclonic storm Fani that had hit Odisha on May 3.
It has been revealed that one show per day will be held as of now.
The light and sound extravaganza at Konark has been non-functional since May 2. With a wind speed of over 185kmph, cyclone Fani which made landfall near Puri city and had caused widespread in the entire district. Adjoining Khurda and Cuttack districts also suffered the devastation.
The 13th-century CE sun temple at Konark attracts lakhs of visitors every year and the light and sound show is a major attraction.
