KISS Students Excel in 10th Board Exam-2018, Post 94% Result

Bhubaneswar: Students of Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) posted 94 percent result in the 10th Board Examination, results of which were declared by the Board of Secondary Education (BSE) today. Over 300 students secured 60% or more marks.

As many as 1565 students from the institute had appeared the examination, which is the highest number in the country from a single school.

More than 200 students of Juana, Didai, Kharia, Lodha, Langia Saura, Bonda students primitive tribal groups are among those who were successful in the examination.

“This is an extraordinary and historical achievement for tribal students,” said parents and leaders of tribal community.

Many intellectuals of the state also said that it is a rare feat to educate and groom tribal students from remote areas of the state and enable them to excel in the 10th Board examination every year.

Dr. Achyuta Samanta, founder, KIIT & KISS, also congratulated the students saying, “Continuous success of KISS students year after year has been possible only due to the blessings of God, continuous effort of teachers, staff and hard labour of students of KISS.”
