Bhubaneswar: Mini-marathon organised by KIIT and KISS University began earlier on Sunday morning. The theme for the marathon is “Education For All”. The Sandy Tower marathon will finish at the nearby KIIT cricket stadium. This is the 4th edition of the mini-marathon organised by KIIT and KISS foundation.
The mini-marathon was flagged off by the founder of KIIT and KISS, Dr Achyuta Samanta.
The mini-marathon is being held simultaneously across 30 districts and 35 cities of the state of Odisha. It is an open-for-all marathon. It is being attended by students, parents and social activists alike. Bhubaneswar Mayor Ananta Narayan Jena and other dignitaries also were part of this social event.
The mini-marathon’s theme “Education For All” is a global movement led by UNESCO, aiming to meet the learning needs of all children, youth and adults. It was then adopted all over the world to spread the beacon of light that the education system is.
