Bhubaneswar: Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi chief Kalvakuntla Chandrashekhar Rao (KCR) will visit Odisha in the first week of May and meet his counterpart and Biju Janata Dal (BJD) supremo Naveen Patnaik to hold a discussion on national politics, sources said.

KCR will first visit the world famous Jagannath temple in Puri, and then call on Odisha Chief Minister, sources added.

The meeting of two leaders will be a significant development to form a Third Front ahead of 2019 general elections as their respective parties have been maintaining equal distance from the BJP as well as Congress.

Significantly, KCR had met West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata in last month to discuss about a broad alliance ahead of 2019 polls.
