Junior Teachers’ Association in Odsiha’s Bargarh stages protest demanding salary hike

Bargarh: The Junior Teachers’ Association here in Odisha staged protest on Friday demanding salary hike. They handed over a memorandum to the district collector in this regard.

As per reports, hundreds of junior teachers today went from the Lokakala Mandap in Bargarh to the District Collector’s office in a rally and handed over a memorandum to the Collector that have 3 charter demand.

The teachers demanded that their salary be hiked after bringing amendment to the contractual rules. They also demanded Rs 10 lakh financial assistance in case of death of a junior teacher of any category.
