Keonjhar: In a shocking incident, a Class XI student from Joda was brutally attacked by an unknown miscreant on Tuesday after being unable to snatch the smartphone.
The student Osh Nand studies in Class XI at Barbil St. Mary’s School located at Joda’s Ward no. 10. On the fateful day he was waiting at Joda bus stand for his school bus. A yet to be caught and supposedly intoxicated miscreant asked for his mobile phone to make a call. When the miscreant was done with his call, Nand demanded his phone back. Reportedly, he got upset with Nand after this demand and in return attacked him with a sharp knife.
Brave Osh Nand refused to give in and was instead attacked on his back and left ear with a sharp knife, eyewitnesses said.
Panda was immediately transferred to nearby Tata Steel Medica Hospital, Joda.
The Joda Police is yet to arrest anyone in this case. More news is expected.
