Bhubaneswar: The postmortem report of Jignyasha Mishra, who died after falling off an apartment recently, revealed that her death was accidental. The report further said that Jignyasha was in an inebriated state when she fell off the apartment on March 29.
Notably, Jignyasha, a private firm employee and a resident of Koraput district had visited one of her male friend namely Shashank Chandravanshi’s home in Nityananda Apartment in Shree Vihar area of the city on the day of the incident. Both of them partied till late night, however, Jignyasha fell off the balcony of the apartment in third floor and sustained critical injury.
Jignyasha succumbed to her injury while being rushed to a private hospital by Chandravanshi. The Commissionerate Police had intensified its probe into her suspicious death by interrogating Chandravanshi and sending her body for autopsy.
Jignyasha is survived by his husband, who works in Hyderabad and a one-year-old daughter.
