Jharsuguda Station Gets Wi-Fi

Jharsuguda: In view of modernising and improving the amenities available to passengers, free high-speed public Wi-Fi service has been launched at Jharsuguda Road railway station today for the benefit of the passengers and rail users.

Officials said that free Wi-Fi has been provided at railway stations to enable people to use services like e-commerce, online banking, access to school/university websites and e-ticketing for train and bus services.

Railway officials said that Wi-Fi services have already been provided at some of the major stations in Odisha including Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Puri, Khurda, Berhampur, Jajpur Keonjhar Road, Bhadrak, Sambalpur and Rayagada. 

“ The service will be extended to other small stations across the state this financial year,” said an official of ECoR.
