Jharsuguda records season’s highest temperature of 44 degrees Celsius in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: Jharsuguda recorded this season’s highest temperature of 44 degrees Celsius so far in Odisha today. This was informed by the regional centre of India Meteorological Department (IMD).

Earlier on April 1, Titlagarh had reported this summer season’s highest temperature of 43.4 degree Celsius.

The weather department also informed that Sonepur and Balangir witnessed temperatures of 43.9 and 43.2 degree Celsius respectively. Mercury also soared to 43 degree Celsius in Titilagarh.

The State Capital City, Bhubaneswar, recorded 38.5 degrees Celsius while Cuttack witnessed a temperature of 37.8 degrees Celsius today.
