Bhubaneswar: A jeweller in Balakati area in the outskirts of Bhubaneswar has been arrested for buying huge amount of stolen gold.
According to reports, the Laxmisagar police effected the arrested on late Wednesday evening.
The shop called ‘Omm Jewellers’ is owned by a person identified as Sushant. He has allegedly bought the stolen gold.
The police got a tip-off about the deal and arrested the jeweller along with the gold.
He is being questioned and further probe is underway.
