JEE Main 2022 exam postponed, Check details

Bhubaneswar: The National Testing Agency (NTA) decided to conduct the two exam sessions of the Joint Entrance Examination or JEE (Main) 2022 in June and July months in the interest of the students.

Reportedly, the JEE Main Session-1 and Session-2 exams for enrollment of students in engineering courses have been postponed.

As per the revised schedule, JEE Main 2022 session 1 will now be held from June 20 to June 28. Similarly, JEE Main 2022 session 2 will now be held from July 21 to July 30.

Earlier, JEE Main 2022 session 1 was scheduled to take place from April 21 to May 7 while session 1 was scheduled to take place from May 24 to May 29.

The candidates will be notified regarding the download of the admit card and the concerned city where the exam will be held.

The registration for the Session-1 exam has already been completed while an online application form for Session-2 will be available soon, stated release said.

The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs (B.E, B.Tech.) at NITs, IIITs, other Centrally Funded Technical Institutions (CFTIs), Institutions, Universities funded by participating state governments.

JEE (Main) is also an eligibility test for JEE (Advanced), which is conducted for admission to IITs. Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the Country.
