Rayagada: In an unusual incident, a bullet rider on Friday hit a jawan and fled from the scene when the cop was trying to stop him for mask checking.
The incident took place in Rayagada district of Odisha. The jawan has been admitted to the District Head Quarter Hospital in critical condition.
The injured jawan has been identified as Bikram Chhatria.

As per reports, the Sub-Collector, Tahsildar, Additional SP and police personnel were checking mask and helmet at Kapilas chhak in Rayagada. At that time a youth was coming riding a bullet motorcycle. As the jawan asked him to stop for mask checking, the youth hit him and escaped from the spot to avoid checking. As a result the jawan sustained critical injury. Soon, he was rushed to the District Headquarter Hospital for treatment. His condition is said to be critical.
