Jagannath Patnaik Resigns From Odisha Congress Coordination Committee

Sambalpur: Ahead of the declaration of the 2019 Election results, senior Congress leader Jagannath Patnaik resigned from the coordination committee of the Odisha Pradesh Congress Committee (OPCC) on Wednesday.

The senior leader revealed that he decided to quit as he was not happy with the poor poll preparedness and management of the party.

Patnaik said he has resigned as the convenor of the committee and a member of the Pradesh Election Committee (PEC). “I have sent my resignation to the OPCC president with a request to accept it immediately,” he said.
