Bhubaneswar: The International Odissi dancer Srinivas Ghatuari has been awarded an honorary Doctorate for his new research in the field dance.
Reportedly, Internationally renowned Odissi dancer and renowned stage coordinator Doctor Srinivas Ghatuari has been awarded the honorary doctorate by the Delhi University.
Ghatuari received a Ph.D. from Bangalore Central University, a D.Litt from Central American University. He is the first artist in the country to receive the award.
The Chancellor, Doctor Anju Bhandare, the Vice-Chancellor Doctor KD Arya, including KD Arya, were present in the ceremony.
Doctor Srinivas Ghatuari thanked his parents, elders, well-wishers, and his mentor Founder of Kalinga Institute of Industrial Technology (KIIT) & Kalinga Institute of Social Sciences (KISS) for his huge success.
