Rayagada: Police on Saturday busted an inter-state bike theft racket here in Odisha with the arrest of 15 persons.
Rayagada SP Sravana Vivek M said, as many as 15 two-wheelers of different brands were recovered from the possession of arrested persons. Among the 15 arrested, five are minors, he said.
The accused had stolen the bikes mostly from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, said Rayagada SP.
Efforts are on to identify the owners of the seized two-wheelers, he added.
While the minors were sent to the correction house, the other accused were forwarded to the court.
