Bhubaneswar: An injured deer was found lying on the streets of Bhubaneswar near Omfed Chhak on Sunday.
Reports says, some onlookers spotted the animal in a bleeding state and informed the PCR. Later, the PCR van reached and rescued the deer.
The deer was reportedly hit by an unknown vehicle. It has sustained fractures on its legs and also on horns.
On being informed, the forest officials reached the spot and have started the treatment of the injured deer.
It will take around 21 days for the injured deer to recover, informed doctor.
